Twisted Road Publications and its authors have lots of events planned for the new year.  Here are some of them.

January 8, 6:30 pm – Pat Spears and Joan Leggitt will present a workshop titled “Writing and Publishing Flawed Characters that Succeed” to the Maitland Writers Group, Maitland Public Library, Maitland, FL

 January 9, 4:00 – 6:00 pm – Google Hangout with Glenda Bailey-Mershon –  “Creating Eve’s and Evangeline’s World” Link up with Author via Google and join in the discussion about the landscape, plot, and characters of Eve’s Garden.

January 11th, 2:30 pm – Sandra Gail Lambert will present a workshop for the Writers Alliance of Gainesville titled “Dragonflies, Manatees, and Snakes, Lots of Snakes—Writing About Place.” Millhopper Library, Gainesville, FL

January 17th, 11:00 am-1:00 pmSandra Gail Lambert will sign copies of The River’s Memory at My Favorite Books, Timberlane Road, Tallahassee Florida

January 31 – Glenda Bailey-Mershon will present a workshop called “Writing Toward the Light,” at Luna Rising, a full day retreat at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Charlotte, 234 N Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC

February 19, 6:30 pmPat Spears will be joined by Tallahassee authors Donna Meredith and Rhett DeVane to present a workshop titled “Writing Flawed Characters That Succeed” to the Tallahassee Writers Association, American Legion Hall at Lake Ella, Tallahassee. FL

February 27, time TBDDarlyn Finch Kuhn, Glenda Bailey-Mershon, Pat Spears and Joan Leggitt will present workshops at “Scribes Night Out” hosted by South Florida State College in Avon Park. Details to follow.

March 28, Time TBA – Launch party hosted by Darlyn Finch Kuhn, to celebrate the release of her new novel, Sewing Holes. Jack Kerouac House, College Park, Orlando, FL

 April 6, and  April 8, Time and details TBA – Glenda Bailey-Mershon will join a discussion of Aaron Yaeger’s film on the European Roma experience before, during, and after the Holocaust/O Porrajmos. On Wednesday, Glenda will be appearing also with Vadim Kolpakov and Via Romen for the unveiling of a musical project based on her novel, Eve’s Garden.  International Roma Day, Wake Forest University

April 1, 6:30 pmDarlyn Finch Kuhn will speak to the Florida Writers Association on the topic “Change the Name and Make Stuff Up,” about the process of turning life experience into fiction.

April 9 – April 11Pat Spears, Sandra Gail Lambert, Glenda Bailey-Mershon and Darlyn Finch Kuhn will be appearing and signing books at the Association Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) conference. Twisted Road Publications will host a booth at the conference Book Fair. Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN.
